The WW1 and WW2 memorials, plus brief background to the WW1 men on the memorial as well as those connected to whitsome & Hilton on my website under [Whitsome 1 place study] and the [Whitsome lists].
The system won't allow me to post the address, but if you Google on Whitsome Lists, you'll find it. |

We already have a thread for Whitsome here:
http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=927
It's in the church section but from what you've posted it looks like it should be moved to the civic section.
Can you add your message to the end of the other thread? I'll move it into the civic section just now and we can then delete this new thread to avoid confusion
Regards

Adam,
I saw the other thread after I'd posted mine. I was then wondering whether I shouldn't have put my message into the Church section as the memorials are 2 plaques inside the Church. However, I've added the info on the other Whitsome & Hilton men not included on the actual memorial...
I'm new around here and happy to go with whatever you think is best.

Looks like I've just confused matters. I thought these were the only memorials in Whitsome so they'd be the civic memorials but if they aren't and some local people have not been included then perhaps they are the church ones after all.
I'd better leave it to the local moderator Derek to sort this one out.
