I have seen a few memorial fountains, some just dried vestiges, some filled with flowers and others crudely capped off. Do any of these still serve their original purpose, i.e. to dispense water for drinking?
I guess the great health and safety eejits have switched them all off.
Please prove me wrong!

If you look closely at David's first photograph of Crossford's memorial in South Lanarkshire you can see a small trickle of water.

I think that might just have been rain, I don't think the actual fountain is working. |
