It looks like an anchor and a wildcat on the obelisk. The anchor for the naval men lost and the wildcat was the badge of the local TF unit, the 5th Seaforths. |

Thanks ADP. The other shields show the badges of the Seaforth Highlanders, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, Black Watch and Gordon Highlanders.
