When a CWGC cemetery has "Communal" in its name what does that mean? How is it different from other cemeteries? _________________ Ken |

Thank you Anne.
I didn't appreciated that fact before or that there are so many.
Just typed the word into cemetery name on CWGC search and got over 50 cemeteries on the "A" s alone. _________________ Ken |

Your welcome Ken my Gt Uncle is buried in St Pol Communal Cemetery Extension. He was my first name I looked into in 1991.
One thing about going to the Communal Cemeteries in November the cemeteries look amazing as the locals put flowers on the graves for All Saints Day 1st November to remember the family members and to visit on 11th November they are look so lovely.
