The church was located at 567 Scotland Street (opposite Middlesex Street).
Began in 1868 when mission work was conducted under the Kirk Session of Maxwell in a brick building in Stanley Street which later came to be called Maxwell Territorial Church. A second outreach of mission, again under Maxwell, was begun in makeshift premises in Vermont Street. A church was built in Scotland Street in 1873, a minister was appointed that same year, and on 5th June 1876 the parish was disjoined from Govan. It thus became Kinning Park Parish Church quoad sacra.
Church dedicated on 16th November 1873.
Terminated on 24th March 1957 on uniting with Kinning Park East as Kinning Park.
Extracted from the In Memoriam Book located in Kinning Park Church, Eaglesham Place, Glasgow G51 1PS
