Leith's War Memorial was a hospital. It was recently converted to flats but the inscription on the front is still there. A roll of honour was completed and placed in the local town hall at the same time but was probably thrown out in the 1990s!!
The same thing happened to the City of Edinburgh RoH as well seemingly.
If you are lucky he may be listed on one of the local church memorials.
