This Waternish war memorial is located at the side of the road ( B886 ) from Lusta & Stein and is nearto the hamlet of Hallin on the Isle of Skye

Roll of Honour for Skye and Lochalsh by Graham Ross . Copies held in the Portree library & Inverness Library.
Waternish War Memorial :
This Memorial was unveiled by Colonel K L MacDonald DSO of Tote on Friday 25 August 1922 . Piper Donald Munro of Bernisdale played "Lochaber No More " as he slowly walked around the Memorial. The sculptor was Mr MacDougall from Oban and it was erected on site by local mason, Mr Malcolm Beaton .
The Memorial is sited on the right hand side of the B 886 before it reaches the Hallin township .
