Pte 203208 William McIntosh
2nd Essex
KIA 21/4/1918
http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=735119
Am indebted to Great Niece of William McIntosh for this photograph.
1. There is a conundrum here, this is definitely him, but can you spot it?
I know what conundrum is but....
2. Can you explain it?
I can't yet.
Ok the problem is.... If he was originally Black Watch, but KIA in 2nd Essex, why is he wearing a South Staffs cap badge?
I still don't know, anyone any ideas?
