Mark
Do you know when he died, etc? I will look through file and update. He will need to have died of the discharge cause.
Update
He is not listed on CWGC. I picked up his DC and am checking further. The discharge and death cause are not the same, but I am hopeful that a case can made which will link one with the other and allow it to be considered. Debility is a general condition, rather than a specific cause. _________________ Jim

Jim,
Just sent the DC. Didn't see your update. I think that reading between the lines - symptoms & cause of death - are linked.

The update was added to my last post. Cause of death and medical discharge ( not symtoms) should be the same and this area is strict. This case will go forward and I feel confident it will succeed due to the short period between discharge and death. That said, a general term like Debility, the discharge recording left lung and the DC the other one as the cause of death do not help us. It is odd that Consumption (TB ) is given as a secondary cause of death on the DC, but the medical four months earlier found no trace of it.
A medical person will have to make the final decision from the details / research provided to MOD. _________________ Jim

S4/091143 Pte Hugh Kerrigan, “A “ Coy., M.T. – A.S.C. has been forwarded as a case, on Mark's behalf, to CWGC / MOD as a non comm death due to service related causes. His details are now in the system.
I am making further enquiries regarding his place of burial.
Will update when further details available.
Well done Mark in finding him. _________________ Jim
