A website showing gravestones in South Africa. There are a few Boer War headstones and surprisingly some CWGC ones from the Second World War. I've come across a Seaforth and Royal Scots Fusilier and an Argyll all from 1942.
I know troopships for the Middle East used to go via Durban so that may go some way to explain how men from these units are buried there.
Anyway this section may be handy. It is a memorial which lists men by regiment who were re-interred at Kroonstad Cemetery
