Barrhead Methodist Church, Paisley Road, Barrhead G78 1EY
This small red sandstone church, built in 1904 in the small town of Barrhead. Once an industrial town, Barrhead's situation in the rural landscape of Renfrewshire has made it an attractive residential suburb of Greater Glasgow. Yet, there is a still a strong sense of community in Barrhead and the church enjoys good relations with the churches of other denominations in the town.

From the Church website-
On 1 May 2016 the doors of the old red sandstone building were closed for the last time after 112 years.
The building required major repairs, the cost of which would be too much for the congregation to raise. However, the congregation are happy in their new accommodation.
The Barrhead Methodist church meets in the Barrhead Evangelical Church Hall situated at 38 Cross Arthurlie St, Barrhead G78 1QW
I wonder what happened to the memorial |

I removed it with my Son for the Church before they vacated the building completely and have it in storage in Neilston |
