Not listed on UKNIWM
The memorial is in the entrance to the Closeburn Parish Church at OS Map Ref: NX 904 923. I seem to have cropped the bottom off the photo (sorry), but presume that it contains the usual 'FOR EVERMORE' to complete the phrase.
There is also a plaque with brief details of the memorial.
A couple of unusual things about the memorial:
1. It was not unveiled until 1935 which I think is quite late for a WW1 memorial?
2. There are no lists of names associated with the memorial, although there is a WW1 roll of honour in the church that I will post separately. Closeburn civic memorial is less than half a mile away and has names of the fallen (already posted).
