In Gretna Old Parish Church, near to Gretna Green civic memorial at OS Map Ref: NY 319 680
An unusual shape and quite difficult to photograph because of the curved, reflective surface.

Roberta E Robertson was a Munitions Worker and her name is also on the Dumfries civic memorial.
I could not find Geo I Mckay RN on either SNWM or CWGC.
K J Stafford was the son of the church minister and his father was killed in the bombing raid in WW2 being listed on the memorial roll for the bombing raid and also having an an individual memorial in Gretna Old Parish church.

All of the men named here are also on the Gretna Parish War Memorial.
Roberta Ewart Robertson – age 20 – Civilian Munitions Worker.
Roberta was killed in an explosion in the munitions factory at Gretna, Dumfriesshire.
Born 1896 in Dumfries. Daughter of William and Priscilla (Ewart) Robertson of 34 Bank Street, Dumfries.
Died on 27 March 1917 and buried in Dumfries (St Michael's) Cemetery. _________________ Ken |
