David,
I know we are now linked on the UKNIWM site.
However, was there any feedback from them on the work we are doing?

I have had a few contacts with them about some stuff that I have sent. They have also asked me to do a full survey of the memorials in St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh - I am still thinking about it

You should do it if you have the time. A lot of the information they have for St Giles at present is worse than useless. Ten listings for Royal Scots memorials with no additional information doesn't help anyone. There are duplicates and entries for individuals listed as regimental memorials. It's a big mess.
If you can do anything to help tidy up their database it's worth doing. I don't think they're ignoring us it's just they've too much to do and not enough staff.

According to their website, it's just 2 people - I guess one dealing with incoming and one with queries - incidentally, they have an internal research file with info that is not online.
I would like to do St Giles but I reckon it would take a full day and I am not sure when I am in Edinburgh next, might have to wait until July or August - still working on my new house
