Captain Arthur Frederick Edward Pitman Memorial
St John’s Episcopal Church, Junction of Lothian Road and Princes Street, Edinburgh

Note the two badges on this memorial. The Captain's badge from the 5th Seaforth Highlanders at the top and the RFC at the bottom.
The 5th Seaforth's used the family Crest and Motto of the Clan Sutherland. It was the TF battalion in Sutherland and Caithness and was HQ'd in Golspie.
Officers wore a unique badge that differed depending on rank. Lieutenants had one feather, captains two, majors three and colonels four.
