As part of the Aberdeen Family History Society we run classes for Beginners and others who feel they need a bit of help with research.
6 Classes are on offer with my Military Research coming in as number 5 talk.
"You'r more than a number in my little red book" gives info into finding out about names on war memorials.
I started with my great uncle and as I wanted to know more than name rank and number I used the title.....
The next one is tomorrow and then one on 8th June - will be an evening talk.
I have to talk for an hour and then give half an hour to go over anything I have not already covered. _________________ Researching WWI info from Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Kincardineshire & Morayshire.

My talk went well I had a bag of books with me and forms and some other paperwork to give away.
I did my talk then switched to my database so the 17 people there could ask about their family members. I managed to find out one man and the delighted researcher was really pleased when I said I had managed to find a photo in the newspapers. _________________ Researching WWI info from Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Kincardineshire & Morayshire. |
