Were these the last Scots to be killed at Gallipoli?
James Adams of Gourock and John Boyle of Rutherglen, both age 27 and serving with 7 HLI. Both died on 8 Jan 2016 (100 years ago today) and commemorated on the Helles memorial.
There was a KOSB man (Frank Parkin) who died on 9 Jan (the last day of the campaign) but he came from Barnsley.
