Situated in Whinns of Milton, Stirling, behind the King Robert Hotel
The Plaque is on the Flagpole, the inscription is as follows:
Erected June 24th 1870 LOYAL DIXON LODGE OF ODDFELLOWS, Dumbarton M.U.
and the Loyal ROCK OF HOPE LODGE, Stirling M.U.

Taken from the road to Chartershall. This is thought to be the area where the Scots had dug deep spiked pits.
