The brothers are not on the war memorial which is on outside corner of churchyard. They are mentioned on gravestone within churchyard.

Thanks for information but parents names and dates of death do not tie in with gravestone dates. Also, burying one of the lads in Kirkcaldy and not home seems strange. (Nothing against Kirkcaldy!)
It would appear parents and sons names were on gravestone and latterly the words "Who fell in action killed in France" and year were added. This information could be wrong, though I doubt it. I will have to search through local papers. |
